The challenge: three days' notice, one day to build
The heads-up came in a single phone call: in three days, 26 people were leaving to form a new practice, and everything had to work on day one. Computers, servers, email, the software a law office runs on, assembled in a temporary office, for people who needed to practice law the next morning. Courts, deadlines, and clients were not going to wait for an IT project plan.

Twenty-six computers and two servers, assembled and configured for the temporary office. A new domain purchased and pointed at hosted business email, putting a working inbox in the new firm's hands roughly four hours in, years before Microsoft 365 made this kind of move routine.
